Description

  • Oversee the construction project from start to finish.

Requirements

  • A four-year Bachelor's degree.

  • Good understanding of MEP building systems.
  • nterpretation of digital building design.

  • Preferred achievement of LEED AP.
  • Possess an OSHA 30 Hour certification.

Job Brief

We are looking for an experienced Construction Project Manager to plan and supervise a wide range of construction projects from start to finish. You will organize and oversee construction procedures and ensure they are completed in a timely and efficient manner. You will work closely with our Senior Project Manager to ensure that all aspects of the project ate meeting or exceeding planned milestones.

An excellent Construction Project Manager must be well-versed in all construction methodologies and procedures and able to coordinate a team of professionals of different disciplines to achieve the best results. The ideal candidate will have an analytical mind and great organizational skills.

Description

  • Collaborate with engineers, architects etc. to determine the specifications of the project.

Superintendent

Job Brief

AC HOME is looking for a qualified and passionate addition to our on site team. This job is a long term, not project by project basis, position with an ever expanding company. We are looking for Superintendents who exemplify our drive for safety and quality on site. Identifying problems before they become a problem through procedural understanding and best practices in order to mitigate danger to our colleagues and subcontractors. Working alongside our Site Managers and Project Managers to produce a clear path to completion of the project.

Description

  • Oversee subs and qualify their work daily.
  • Complete site supervision
  • Working with inspectors and officials on site
  • Assures plans and processes are followed and immediately brings problems to senior P.M.
  • Interview and select workers for the site
  • Communicating site rules regarding safety procedures to new hires
  • Manage all site traffic (time clock for payroll, leave application approval)
  • Contact person for the union representatives
  • Understand labor contract to ensure that violations of the terms do not occur
  • Inspect work performed by employees, other contractors and sub-contractors
  • Increase list of possible subs

Requirements

  • Site start up/under grounds utilities experience
  • Have experience in multi-family mid-rise construction

Construction assistant

Job Brief

The Construction Assistant is a utility position on site. Job duties range from opening and closing the site to everything in-between; direct work with sub-contractors to maintain scheduling, inductions, safety exercises, potential painting and labor tasks, office work and laborer coordination, etc. This position will lead to a Project Superintendant or Project Management position if performed well.

Must be honest, energetic, with a strong work ethic.

Description

  • Meet with our salesman to determine exactly what is needed to be done on each jobsite.
  • Be the salesman's assistant in any way he needs you to be 
  • Often will need to open and close homes for subcontractors to perform work in. 
  • May have to help schedule subcontractors.
  • Delivering supplies to jobsites to be installed by subcontractors. 
  • Explain to subcontractors how customer wants certain items completed. 
  • May have to sweep, or paint touch up or a punch out item

Requirements

  • Bilingual Spanish/English is almost a prerequisite for this job
  • Provide assistance to Construction Project Manager in new construction, refurbishing, remodeling and maintenance of all facilities owned and/or operated by AC HOME and all related entities.
  • Provide general labor
